Why Everything Is Liquid

Why Again Is Everything Liquid?

My life is a dense forest.
Everything is skating, rising, falling, rotating.
The sun comes up in the moon.
Death is an old island in the past.

A lion in the clump of leaves, depression
food is in the cloud

just above.

The roots are a freeway system, tree
a postcard from the future.
Dirt is pastry.
Dirt is lumber.
Dirt is wind.
Wind is sea.
Quantum physics are old school.

Water is wine, prayer
oxygen.
over the thing above it
Can’t you see?
Light climbs

and falls to the floor. It crimps,
crying and demanding.
How can it not be the centerpiece,
God’s plaything?

What could be more fun than light
unless you have a photon?

Only God cannot be a picture.
